Made Here + The Dream Factory: New Year, New Goals

Made Here was created to help make a difference in the Manitoba community. By shifting from supporting four separate local charities to supporting one, we have the opportunity to make an even greater impact for that cause. We chose The Dream Factory due to Vantage’s personal connection to the organization.
When I was 13, I was a Dream Kid. For me, my dream was a toss-up between playing basketball with Michael Jordan or swimming with dolphins. Ultimately, swimming with dolphins won out, but whatever I picked, The Dream Factory was prepared to do everything in their power to make that dream come true.

In those two years of being really sick, the only real memories that stick with me now are those happy moments where my dream came true.

These dreams are not just for the child, they are a chance for the whole family to create unforgettable memories, and to focus on the joys of life during a very difficult time.

Today, it is incredibly important for me to be able to give back to an organization that helped bring my childhood dream to life. At Vantage, we believe in the power of a dream come true and are dedicated to doing our part for kids in Manitoba battling life-threatening illnesses.

The Dream Factory relies solely on the support of businesses and individuals to make these dreams come true. I know first-hand the feeling of hope and burst of energy that a dream can bring to a sick child, and am passionate about ensuring The Dream Factory can continue encouraging kids to dream BIG.

Our goal for Made Here is to raise $20,000 for The Dream Factory in 2020. With this donation, we will help even more dreams come true, no matter how wild they may be.
