What is Made Here?

Made Here is a Winnipeg gift shop and online store featuring products from Manitoba makers, artists and small businesses. Our collection includes apparel, art, food and drink, home goods, bath and beauty products, jewellery, stationery and more.

Are all of your products made in Manitoba?

Our shop focuses on products created by Manitoba makers, artists and small businesses. We do carry products from local Canadian makers and artisans. Product details identify the maker behind each item so you can learn more about who you are supporting.

How does my purchase support local makers?

Many of our products are sold on consignment. When an item sells, the maker behind it receives their share of the sale. Your purchase directly supports a Manitoba creative business rather than a distant warehouse. 

An item is available in-store but not online. Can I still purchase it?

Possibly. Email hello@madeheremb.com with a description or photo of the item. We will check availability and contact you with next steps.

How can I ask whether a product is in stock?

Send stock inquiries to hello@madeheremb.com. Include the product name, maker and any details such as colour, size or flavour.

Orders, pickup and shipping

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes. Made Here ships eligible products across Canada. Shipping charges are calculated during checkout.

Can I pick up my online order in-store?

Yes. Wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready, then visit during regular store hours.

What are your store hours?

We are open Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are normally closed on weekends. Follow Made Here on Instagram for occasional weekend-hour updates.

Gifts and gift boxes

Can I build my own gift box?

Yes. Our Build a Gift Box experience lets you choose the packaging and products that fit the person or occasion. Use the Build a Gift Box page to begin.

Do you offer ready-made gift boxes?

Yes. Our pre-made curated gifts are designed for customers who want a thoughtful local gift without building one from scratch.

Can I send a gift directly to the recipient?

Yes. Enter the recipient’s delivery information during checkout. Add any available gift-message or customization details before completing the order.

Do you offer corporate gifting?

Yes, this is our specialty. We curate Manitoba-made gifts for employees, clients, events and other business relationships. Options include different products, gift-box sizes and packaging. Start by completing the corporate gifting request form. 

Can you work within a specific gifting budget?

Yes. Include your quantity, budget, deadline and recipient details in your gifting request. Our team will use that information to recommend an appropriate direction.

Gift cards and certificates

Can I buy a Made Here gift card?

Yes. Digital gift cards are available through the Made Here website and physical cards can be purchased in-store. 

Can I use a physical gift certificate online?

No. Physical gift certificates must be redeemed in the Made Here shop.

Returns and product concerns

What is your return and exchange policy?

All sales are final. Because our products are sold on consignment from local makers, Made Here does not offer refunds or exchanges.

What should I do if there is a quality issue?

Contact hello@madeheremb.com with your order information, photos and a description of the issue. Because each product comes from an independent maker, the appropriate next step may involve that maker.

How do I apply to sell my products at Made Here?

Manitoba makers, artists and small businesses can submit the Maker Application Form. Applications are reviewed for possible inclusion in the shop and online store.

Does submitting an application guarantee acceptance?

No. Submitting an application allows the Made Here team to review your products, brand and fit with the current collection.
