2020 Vision: What’s Happening at Made Here in the New Year

The year is coming to a close, and what a year it has been! During our first year, Made Here raised $20,000 for four amazing Winnipeg charities: The Dream Factory, Snowflake Place, Art City, and Junior Achievement. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped us reach this goal.

After such an awesome year, we have some big plans to make 2020 even better. First, we’re shifting from supporting four separate charities to supporting one: The Dream Factory. This will allow us to make an even bigger impact on one cause while also honouring Vantage’s personal connection to the organization and the incredible work they do.

Secondly, we have plenty of exciting things coming to the blog! Stay tuned for monthly blog posts including product highlights, maker features, gift guides, and Dream Kid profiles. We’ll also be inviting some local makers to be guest bloggers, and to tell you a bit about themselves and the Manitoba-made goodies they create.

You may have stopped by the shop to pick up some holiday gifts over the past few weeks, but did you know Made Here is open year-round?
