Hedi's bad hair day teaches children that our quirks are part of the beauty of who we are, and highlights what makes each of us special. It reminds us that true beauty and joy come from kindness, friendship, and embracing who you are—not from great hair days.
Charly Ann is an author and programme planner of excellence, having won an award for Best Therapeutic Recreation Facilitator in Manitoba in 2023. She has a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Studies and a Commercial Art certificate. When Charly was just three years old, famed Canadian artist A.Y. Jackson booped her on the nose and said, “What a good girl,” and she has always believed that moment sprinkled her with lifelong good art luck. Maybe that’s why her hobbies include painting, creating wreaths, crafts of all kinds, and decorating. Charly lives in Winnipeg with her children and her partner.
