What to Look Forward to in 2021

Happy New Year! Thank you to everyone who supported Made Here throughout 2020. Your support means the world to us, our vendors, and our friends at The Dream Factory

Despite the craziness that was 2020, we had a pretty great year, and we think 2021 is going to be even better.

Here are some things to look forward to this year:

The Little Things

Last year, we learned to treasure the little things in life: a cup of coffee, a long walk, a good homemade meal, a soak in the tub. This year, let’s keep it up. There are so many ways to keep these little moments feeling special, too!

Whether you’re looking for a new mug for your morning coffee, new flavours for your next meal, or bubbles for your next bath—we’ve got plenty of Manitoba-made goodies to add some spice (literally, check the food + drink section) to your day.

Gift Boxes Are Here to Stay

Last year, we launched our online shop and curated gift boxes—and what a successful launch it was! The holidays may be over, but our gift boxes aren’t going anywhere. Birthdays, anniversaries, or just to say “congrats on making it through another month”—our curated gift boxes are perfect for any occasion!

Another Dream Come True

In December, The Dream Factory completed an epic bedroom makeover for Ethan, their 800th Dream Kid! He loves his football-themed bedroom and looks forward to enjoying it for years to come.

We can’t wait to see what amazing dreams The Dream Factory will bring to life this year!

Sweet Dream Treats!

This past December, Park Line Coffee sold nearly 900 cups of their Warrior Hot Chocolate—a warm winter treat created for Dream Kid Travis.

Between hot chocolate sales, online donations, and generous matching gift donors, The Dream Factory raised over $14,000 for Travis' Dream.

We love seeing local businesses join forces with The Dream Factory to bring dreams to life—and we trust that there will be lots of sweet Dream treats to enjoy in 2021!

Food, Food, and More Food!

In early 2020, bored and unsuspecting in the early stages of a global pandemic, many of us tried our hand at making sourdough bread. If that “make your own bread” energy hasn’t exactly followed you into the new year, don’t fret. Order your Dine Manitoba Restaurant Guide now for good eats, 2021-style (read “no creative energy required”).

This coupon book is filled with over $2,000 worth of savings to over 45 local restaurants. Each guide is only $20—and $5 from each sale goes to The Dream Factory!
