Secret Santa Gift Ideas: Local Edition
If you’re reading this, you can probably see that Made Here has a really great site where you can shop for your favourite local products from the comfort of home.
Well, if you’re one of those people who actually like leaving the house, you can also visit us in-person in the lower level of the Richardson Centre Concourse (just down the escalators from The Fairmont or the Richardson Centre entrance).
Our little shop is so lucky to be in the centre of Winnipeg’s bustling business district, and we’re so happy to see people confidently returning to the office again! Just in time, too—the concourse is kind of magical this time of year.
Everyone bundled up and scurrying off to work, exchanging good tidings with familiar faces. And we can’t forget about one of the highlights of office life: secret santa!
If your team is planning a gift exchange, here are some awesome Manitoba-made prezzies—all for $25 or less!

For the coworker with the decked-out desk
We suggest a handmade burnt wood ornament from Oh Wanderer. These sweet decorations can stay up all year long and add some personality to any office space.
For the coworker with the best snacks
Know that one coworker who has next-level snacks on hand at all times. Sweet and savoury spreads from Flora and Farmer are bound to be their new foodie fav. Make sure you buy a jar for yourself, too. Even the most generous snacker will agree: these spreads are too delicious to share.
For the coworker who knows a little bit about everything
We all have that one coworker who knows the most random and fascinating facts, while also being a spreadsheet superstar who can speak 3 languages and play the bass. Right? Yeah, they’ll probably get a kick out of these holiday towels by Salvaged.
For the “morning person”
There’s always one person at the 9 a.m. meeting who is impossibly peppy. If you ask them, they’ll say they’re a morning person. In reality, they’re just on a well-timed caffeine high. This coworker will LOVE a bag of premium coffee from Mugging Whales.

For the one who definitely saw the game last night
If you have a coworker whose “good morning” sounds more like “did you see the game last night,” you should probably get them these rad retro-looking magnets from Winnipeg North of Fargo.
Don’t forget the card!
Presents are nice, but what this season is really about is showing the people in your life that you care. Make sure your coworkers know how much you appreciate them and all the work they’ve done during these wild times.
These wintery Winnipeg postcards from Alex Plante and nature-inspired cards from Paper Canoe are the perfect way to deliver a heartfelt message.
