Meet Our Newest Makers

The Stak Co.

The Stak Co. is bringing you Manitoba-grown pulse mixes just in time for picnic season. Take your pick from Housework Makes You Ugly Pea Soup, Northern Classic Chili, Tortilla Soup Fest, and Loco Burrito—or try all four with the Cool Beans Gift Pak. Each mix is vegan, gluten-free, low in sodium, and loaded with protein and iron.

These pulse packs make 6–8 servings each, so you can whip up a flight of plant-based burgers and dips to enjoy along with this warm weather.

Sugar Soap Co.

As someone who grew up with eczema, Sugar Soap Co.’s Founder, Cher, was committed to creating a line of body products that didn’t burn or sting sensitive skin. With Sugar Soap Co., Cher offers a complete line of vegan soaps and bath products that are sustainably sourced and kind to a range of skin types.

These bath must-haves are as beautiful as they are nurturing, and they come in both sweet and fresh scents that are perfect for spring!

Pretty Things

The sun is shining and your toque has been tucked back into storage, but now...your head feels kind of naked. Don’t fret, Pretty Things has you covered. Their handcrafted hair barrettes offer elegant designs that feature gold flecks and natural elements.

These hairpieces complete any outfit. Throw some in your hair before a Zoom meeting and no one will even suspect that you’re not wearing pants.

Alex Plante

While Alex is no stranger to the shop, she is working on some exciting new prints (proudly printed by Print Shop by Vantage). This new Tourism Series highlights some of the most-loved destinations from around Manitoba with beautiful, vintage-inspired designs.

Clearwater Lake, Spruce Woods, Hecla Island, Birds Hills Park—collect ‘em all!

We can’t forget the news from our friends at The Dream Factory!

The Dream Drive is on NOW! This two-week fundraising drive runs until April 29 and has one awesome goal: raise $100,000 to make 6 dreams come true for Manitoban kids in need of some magic.

These dreams will take place safely and locally, between May and September of 2021, and will create unforgettable memories for Manitoban families whose children are facing life-threatening illnesses.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Dine with Dream Drive Live–a virtual celebration with special guests, live entertainment, and delicious meal options from The Gates, Brazen Hall, Frankie’s Italian Kitchen & Bar, or Confusion Corner Drinks and Food.

Be a Dream Maker by making a tax-deductible donation to The Dream Factory. Your donation will help make sure that Dream Kids can keep dreaming BIG!

Enter the Dream Drive raffle for your chance to win a shopping spree valued at $1,000—including gift cards to The Home Depot, Costco, Bed, Bath and Beyond, and more!
